COVID-19 Update

At this time we are continually monitoring the COVID-19 situation. 

Chumash Casino Resort is currently closed. On May 21, 2020 it was decided to keep the resort temporarily closed. We are working diligently on a plan and hope to have another announcement soon. 

The decision to remain closed includes Hotel Corque, Hadsten House, Root 246 and the Kitá tasting room.

Q: What if my slot machine cash out voucher expires while Chumash Casino Resort is temporarily closed?
A: We are extending the expiration date for slot machine cash out vouchers 6 months from their current expiration dates, if the voucher expiration date occurs on or before March 31, 2020.

Q: How do I request my Win/Loss Statement? 
A: Please visit the Tax Form Request web page for more information. 

Q: What happens to my offers while you’re closed? / Will I get new offers once you’re open again?
A: Once Chumash Casino Resort resumes daily operations, you will continue receiving your offers and invitations. New offers and invitations will be issued once our temporary closure concludes.

Q: Is the Geared To Go promotion still happening? / Are you still giving away the Mercedes-Benz Airstream Grand Tour?
A: Yes, we will still be giving away the Mercedes-Benz Airstream Grand Tour. All current player entries will remain valid. Our Geared To Go promotion is on hold until Chumash Casino Resort resumes casino operations. We will provide updates via website, social channels, mail and email, where applicable, as more information regarding promotions and events becomes available.

Q: What happens to my player card for The CLUB at Chumash while you’re closed?
A: Your player card will remain active and your tier status will be maintained. All Slot Point balances, Free Play balances and Earned Rewards balances will be kept in your account.

Q: What happens to my player card for The CLUB at Chumash once you reopen?
A: You will be able to keep your current tier status. Chumash Casino Resort will provide a way to make up Tier Points for the amount of lost time during the closure. Reward Points that were accumulated prior to the temporary closure can be redeemed as usual once business resumes.

Q: When are you reopening?
A: As of now, we anticipate Chumash Casino Resort will remain temporarily closed. Chumash Casino Resort leadership is in close communication with local, state and federal health agencies to discuss the latest developments on the virus. We will provide updates to our valued guests via website, email and social media.

Q: If I purchased entertainment tickets for an event that was canceled at Chumash Casino Resort, can I get a full refund?
A: At this time, Chumash Casino Resort will offer a refund for anyone who purchased tickets through chumashcasino.com, by phone or in person for entertainment that has been postponed. We are currently in the process of refunding all credit card transactions which can take seven to 10 business days. If you purchased with cash, a check will be mailed to the address we have on file.

Q: If I made a reservation at Chumash Casino Resort Hotel, can I get a full refund?
A: At this time, Chumash Casino Resort Hotel will offer a full refund for anyone who chooses not to visit because of Coronavirus concerns.

Q: What about the gifts I was supposed to redeem/pick up in the month of March?
A: All gifts that were scheduled to be picked up during the time we are closed will be rescheduled for after we reopen.

Q: What if I had a monthly mail offer to redeem during the closure?
A: If you had a mail offer in March and were not able to use your offer, we will issue you a new mail offer upon reopening.

Q: What if I had a birthday or anniversary offer to redeem during the closure?
A: If you had a birthday or anniversary in March and were not able to use your offer, we will issue you a new birthday or anniversary offer to you upon reopening.

Q: Are you cleaning the casino?
A: While the casino and resort is temporarily closed, we will continue to thoroughly clean public and employee spaces. For the past several weeks, casino leadership team has increased preventative measures including increasing cleaning schedules and protocols in areas where germs or viruses can be transmitted, making sanitization stations available throughout the property and issuing guidance to team members to promote social distancing.

Additionally, we have adjusted our employee attendance program to support our team members’ absences during this period. Chumash Casino Resort leadership continues to track the situation closely and is prepared to respond as the situation changes.
