The Spa at the Chumash Casino Resort Hotel
The Spa has been designed as an oasis from the excitement of the Casino floor. Here you can relax, reflect and rejuvenate with any number
of health and beauty treatments.
Massage is a specialty of the Spa, with treatments
ranging from Swedish Massage to Samala Stone Massage and Reflexology. We offer a full service salon, a collection of treatment rooms, private men's and women's locker facilities, complete with steam rooms, a fitness center, outdoor pool and Jacuzzi. There is a
private suite for Couple's Massages, which is designed to enhance your
relationship as well as your health. And if you
are in the mood for something really special, inquire about our unique Hydrotherapy exfoliations.
We strongly suggest scheduling your Spa reservations in advance by calling 1-800-Chumash, extension 1755. All reservations must be held with a credit card. If
you must reschedule or cancel, please do so at least 12 hours in
advance of your treatment time. Late cancellations and/or changes will
result in a 50% charge of the treatment price. No-shows will be charged
in full. Arriving 30 minutes before the start of your treatment is advised. Please note that if you arrive late for your treatment, it will end as scheduled so as not to delay the next guest.
We have both male and female therapists; please let us know if you have a preference.
Spa guests must be at least 18 years of age.
Gratuities are not included and are at the sole discretion of our guests.
For the enjoyment of all our guests, we ask that cell phones and pagers be turned off while at the spa.
The spa is a non-smoking facility.
If
you have any of the following conditions, please consult your physician
prior to visiting any spa: pregnancy, mobility impairments, physical
ailments, allergies, recent surgeries, or other medical concerns. Heat
treatments are not recommended for guests with heat sensitivity, heart
conditions or pregnancy. Please note that receiving treatments when ill
(with cold or the flu, for example) may cause your symptoms to
accelerate and, if the illness is contagious, may place our staff in an
unsafe environment. If illness is detected, alternative treatments or
rescheduling may be necessary.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the Spa. For your health and safety, if intoxication is detected, rescheduling of services may occur.

Q: What do I wear for my spa treatments?
A:
We provide a Spa robe and sandals for your convenience. To fully enjoy
your treatment we recommend that no clothing be worn during your
services. You will be professionally draped at all times however; you
may keep undergarments on during any treatment.
Q: When should I arrive for my spa treatment?
A:
For the ideal Spa experience, we recommend that you arrive 15 to 30
minutes prior to your scheduled treatment time. This way you can enjoy
our Steam Rooms, showers and Relaxation Room.
Q: What if I am late for my treatment?
A:
All of our treatments end on time. If you are late, it will cut into
your scheduled treatment time. This is to ensure that the next quest is
not delayed.
Q: May I request a male or female therapist for my services?
A:
Absolutely, your comfort is our main concern. If you are more
comfortable with a specific gender, we will do our best to accommodate
your request.
Q: Can I bring my valuables?
A: Valuables should not be brought to the Spa, as we assume no responsibility for misplaced items.
Q: Is the Spa available for non-Hotel guests to use?
A: Yes!
